Nordstrom, a three story department store located in the Garden State Plaza Shopping Center, Paramus, New Jersey, consists of four main tiled areas.
The 1st floor cafeteria features an intricate display of patterned floor and wall tiles. A two color scheme of 12 x 12" IAC Platinum and Sangira appear on the floor. Multiple angles and cuts allow for a flowing transition of the aisleways and service line. A three color pattern of 3" x 3" Heath Tile appears on the wall. As with the floor, Artisan Tile created this stylish layout.
The Garden Court features an 8" octagon with 3-1/4" drop Terra Cotta paver. Artisan Tile performed the staining process to create this beautiful Adobe color.
Emphasizing the Expresso Bar is an exquisite three color design, utilizing several different size American Olean and Emser tiles. The main wall tile is a 4" Aroya Bone, enhanced with a checkerboard pattern created by alternating Bone and Mocha 2 x 2" tiles accent with a 2 x 2" Taupe Mist. The floor is tiled with an American Olean 6 x 6" Fawn Gray quarry tile.
The employee restrooms feature 2 x 2" Satinglo floor, base and wall tile. The walls are accented with hand made diamonds and a two color border. In addition, the toilet rooms include tiled counter tops, backsplashes and a changing station.
