Playing its part in a state of the art school of tomorrow is a mind stimulating ceramic tile display found in all of the bathrooms. Ceramic and quarry tile totaling 20,000 SF were used in the creative three dimensional geometric designs, utilizing a multicolor variety of patterns, accents, borders and dots.
The kitchen and faculty dining areas consisted of 6 x 6" stone flashed quarry tile floor and base which was thin set with epoxy grout.
 The toilet areas have a 9' ceramic tile (4-1/4" sq) wall using either a bone field with navy accent, a heather field with burgundy accent, or an almond wall with either a mauve mist or cadet blue accent. The accents were used either on feature walls or as a checkerboard stripe.
Floor tiles consisted of 2 x 2" hand set patterned tiles in a combination of colors ranging from papyrus, alabaster, amethyst, charcoal, sterling silver, dawn gray and midnight blue. The shadowbox patterns were offset by unique borders and accent areas creating an explosion of colors.
The design layout was complicated by the involved configuration of the rooms. This is a unique and intricate installation using a striking juxtaposition of patterns and colors, where a picture is truly worth a thousand words.
