Purchasing Agent, Project Coordination
Hi! Thanks for visiting me!
My guess is that you are viewing my page to find out exactly what my role is at Artisan. Well I am officially listed as Expeditor/ Purchasing agent. My main responsibility is ordering and expediting all purchase orders for material - although I often resemble a project manager in many cases. The only catch is that most of the time we have over 100 active projects at the same time. I take a project from sample approval stage through to completion, from color selections to change orders, to project liaison...(with the exception of requisitioning & collections, which I try to avoid like the plague!) My main goal, which I am told is also my main fault, is to try to make everyone happy - which is far from easy!
Outside of the tile world, is my real world...my 3 children. They are by far the best and most important thing that I have, and will ever have, the privilege of being a part of.
Jessie, our oldest, is my Godsend. Without her I would never be able to do half the things I need to do. She also has the biggest, purest heart of gold.
Danielle is our middle child and will definitely WOW the world in many ways. She is just starting to step "into her own" and I am confident she will shine.
Our third child is our little boy, Kevin. Kevin is growing up too fast and I am sad to say is not a baby anymore. He is my potential engineer. He needs to know how everything works and wants to help fix, build and have his hands in every project. It is exciting to see each of them molding their own personalities. My favorite two sayings that I strive to live by with my children are: Nothing is more precious to your child than your time (as little of it that there seems to be these days, we need to keep it prioritized). Give them roots to stay grounded and wings to soar! Together with my husband, John, I hope and pray everyday that we can give them this and so much more!
